A busy second half of the year to come


Although the weather has not been kind to us so far this year, we have our fingers crossed that this will improve as we have a number of weddings for which we are providing furniture and beautiful, colour co-ordinated table coverings and seat pads. These enable the bride to theme her reception to match the rest of the day and provide a pretty backdrop for the celebrations.  There are some splendid Summer Balls coming up too, where our furniture and tableware will be superbly displayed against some glorious backdrops. There is nothing quite like English architecture, glowing in the early evening light of a balmy summer evening – another reason we are hoping the weather perks up!


Having built up a reputation for great service has resulted in regular repeat business. Many of the occasions, for which we provide tables, chairs, catering equipment and all sorts of other things too, are regular events and we can factor these in, perhaps planning a year in advance. Accomodating any changes as the event gets nearer.


It is not unusual to have last minute requests sprung on us and we often have to think fast – and act even quicker! A sudden panic can happen for a variety of reasons, and equipment is required at short notice.  There are also times when commercial businesses need to arrange for an extraordinary meeting to be held at the last minute – or perhaps a new product launch needs to be staged quickly.  Our many years experience and our ability to be flexible means that we can usually help out at the last minute. Charity and fundraising events often evolve quite quickly in their final planning stages with numbers of guests only being known at the 11th hour.


As we come into the second half of the year, here at Swift Hire we are busily preparing for Autumn and Christmas events already! The nature of our business means that we have to plan well in advance to make sure that we have furniture, tableware and linens plus all manner of equipment ready to go for a huge variety of events. Planning is the key!
